Rock It - Gorillaz
A very neat song by one of the very neatest bands. Not released on any albums, for some reason, but my friend and I dug it up when searching for stuff about Demon Days, before that was released. We were eager, what can I say?

Red Alert - Basement Jaxx
This song is classic Basement Jaxx to me, one of the first songs of theirs I ever knew. I haven't been in much of a dance music mood lately, but when I am, this is a go-to song for sure.

Rainmaker - Iron Maiden
I've only started listening to Maiden recently, on a whim. But it was a good whim. I used to think they were some crazy metal band with thrashing guitars that I wouldn't really like at all, but that's far from the truth. They manage to rock out while still making good-sounding, melodic songs that I can listen to over and over.

Red Red Red - Fiona Apple / Red White And Blue - Shaimus
I thought these made a neat pair. Fiona is always great for my moody moods, and hell, I have to feel a connection to her, since we share a birthday and all. This is a very pretty song of hers.
Shaimus is not exactly well-known, but after hearing a few songs of theirs, I picked up their cd and I wasn't disappointed. Very soft-rock, very my thing.
Rock Star - Ben Folds / Rock Star - Everclear / Rockstar - Nickelback / Rockstar - N.E.R.D.
I though this was entertaining enough to do. I don't have the Nickelback song readily available, unfortunately. Ben Folds isn't exactly rocking too hard with this one, but then again, he usually doesn't (possible exception: Rockin' The Suburbs). Everclear is an old favorite band of mine, and this is a decent song from them. My dad likes Nickelback more than I do. And N.E.R.D., well... is N.E.R.D. Which is amazing.
This is totally me doing all the work I need done by tomorrow, guys. Seriously.

So the Chance was going to host a Kenny G show at the Mid-Hudson Civic Center. August 10th, that's about two weeks from today.
But they cancelled.
Why did they cancel? Well, apparently to make the show work (ie. be profitable), they estimated they would need about 1800 pre-sale tickets.
As of today, they have sold 125.
